Meet Franklin II, an adorable baby boy born on August 11. He’s a mixed breed with a unique lineage; his mom is a bluetick mix and his dad is a pit bull/lab. At just 1 month old, Franklin is small yet full of potential! He’ll undergo behavioral evaluations at 8 weeks to ensure he goes to the best-suited family based on personality rather than appearance. Franklin's future adopters should be around during the day to help with basic training, including crate training and leash walking. As local adoptions are preferred, be ready for a little road trip within 2-3 hours of Hampton Roads, VA, or NE NC. Before adoption, Franklin will receive two vaccines, and you'll need to handle the third booster and rabies shot. Remember, he’s not officially adopted until he’s spayed or neutered, scheduled promptly by Cliff's Coonhound Rescue & Trapping. An adoption trial of one week is available to ensure he’s a perfect fit. Bring lots of love and patience to continue his socialization.
