Fern is a charming little puppy, born on August 11, 2023. She's a mix of Bluetick Coonhound and Pit Bull Terrier, with a sleek black coat that hints at her playful promise. Fern will undergo a behavioral evaluation at 8 weeks to match her with the ideal home based on her personality — not just looks. This thoughtful approach ensures a perfect fit for both Fern and her future family. We're looking for adopters who can commit time during the day for basic training like crate training, housebreaking, and leash walking. Fern and her siblings will receive two vaccinations before going home, but adopters are responsible for the third booster and rabies vaccine. Remember, adoptions are local only, within a 2–3 hour drive of Hampton Roads, VA, or northeastern North Carolina. There will be a one-week trial adoption period before the $275 adoption fee is due, along with a small spay/neuter fee. Fern's journey to a loving home starts here, and she’s ready to become a cherished member of your family!
