The decision about his new family will take into account his behavioral evaluation when he reaches eight weeks. The ideal adopter would be someone who can commit to being home during the day to start basic training, like crate training and leash walking. Since he will have received vaccines before heading to his forever home, the new owner will need to manage his remaining booster and rabies vaccination and provide proof. Adoption is limited to local applicants within a 2-3 hour radius of Hampton Roads, VA. A one-week trial is offered prior to finalizing adoption. Once spayed or neutered, an official adoption contract will be provided along with all vet records. Training and socialization will be essential as Josh grows up.
