Waffles is a baby girl who is part Bluetick Coonhound and part Pit Bull Terrier. She was born on August 11, 2023, and is currently looking for her forever home. Waffles and her siblings will be placed with approved adopters based on their personalities, not looks. This means a trainer will evaluate them at 8 weeks old to help find the best fit for each puppy. To adopt Waffles, applicants should be home during the day for basic training like crate training, housebreaking, and leash walking. She will receive two vaccines before going home, and adopters are responsible for her third booster and rabies vaccine. Adoption is limited to local homes within 2-3 hours of Hampton Roads, VA, or NE NC. There’s a one-week trial period before the $275 adoption fee is due, along with a small fee for the spay and neuter procedure. Because Waffles is still a baby, socialization and continued crate training will be important for her development.
