About Firethorn
Firethorn arrived at HART with her sister Gooseberry after being rescued from an abandoned home. Initially fearful and unsocialized, she has made remarkable progress with the help of our Shy Angels Socialization Team. Though still a bit shy, Firethorn has started to trust people and accepts gentle pets from those she feels comfortable with. This independent cat has found companionship in her little family that includes Gooseberry and their friend Yam. Observing them together is a delight; they often curl up in sunny spots or simply enjoy each other's company. Firethorn leans on her siblings for reassurance and has thrived in their presence. As she continues to build her confidence, Firethorn enjoys treats and basking in the sun. She’ll thrive best in a quiet home without dogs or children, although calm, respectful visiting children are fine. Firethorn is bonded with Gooseberry and Yam, and they’re all looking for a loving home together. With the right environment, she will further blossom and discover the joys of companionship.
