About Regina
Regina is a lovely cow-patterned kitty with a delicate frame and a unique personality. Her black-and-white markings and expressive eyes draw you in, but it’s her quiet strength and gentle sensitivity that truly set her apart. Regina came to HART with her close companion, Harbor, and they share a deep bond, often cozying up together for naps. Their connection makes it ideal for them to be adopted as a pair. Upon her arrival, Regina was quite timid and undersocialized, overwhelmed by her new surroundings. Thanks to the dedicated efforts of our Shy Angels Socialization Team, she's learning to trust. While she may be reserved, she’s also playful and curious, finding joy in chasing laser pointers and batting at toys. Churu treats are a definite favorite, giving her the chance to build a positive association with her humans. Regina flourishes with calm, familiar companions like Harbor. She's friendly with other cats but especially relies on Harbor for comfort and security. A peaceful home with adults or older children who understand slow integration would help her shine. With time and gentle encouragement, Regina will continue to blossom, revealing her sweet and playful side. To meet Regina and Harbor, please fill out an adoption application at HART of Maine. Keep in mind that a meeting with a Shy Angels team member is required for final adoption approval. Your new companion awaits you!
