About Harbor

Harbor is a striking brown tiger tabby with expressive eyes and a gentle spirit. She’s naturally reserved around new people and likes to take her time getting comfortable, but with each passing day, she’s grown more confident—she’s even stepped up to greet visitors. Real affection from her doesn’t come easy at first, though she can be persuaded with a Churu treat and a bit of patience. What really brings her out of her shell is playtime; she’s a champion laser-pointer chaser and loves to be active. Older kids seem to have a special place in Harbor’s heart—she gravitates toward their quiet energy and will linger near them, feeling safe and engaged. She fits in easily with other cats, especially calm males, but doesn’t need constant feline company to feel at home. A soft, fuzzy blanket is her favorite comfort—she’ll relax and settle in if given a cozy spot to burrow. Harbor will do best in a peaceful home with patient adults or older children who respect her slow approach and give her the time and consistency she needs to feel secure. She’s spayed, house trained, vaccinated, and not on any medication, but she is FIV positive, which simply means her immune system is a bit lower; with good care, FIV+ cats live happy, normal lives and can safely live with friendly cats. If you’d like to meet her, you’ll need to have a brief chat with the Shy Angels Socialization Team to make sure it’s a good fit. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
