Elphaba, affectionately known as Effie, brings an abundance of charm with her sweet personality and those endearing wrinkles. Rescued as a stray from West Texas, she now thrives in Tucson, AZ, thanks to some wonderful partners. This delightful girl has a unique way of snorting like a little pig and loves to shower her human companions with affectionate licks. While the shelter estimated her age to be around 7 years, her sparkling white teeth tell a different story that makes everyone chuckle. She'll soon visit the vet for a treatment plan, as she may require entropion surgery and a brow lift to enhance her vision. Effie's skin is in remarkably good condition, although she could benefit from gaining a few pounds. She gets along splendidly with other dogs, making her an easygoing addition to any foster home. Plus, she is completely house trained. Currently in Tucson, she’ll be relocating to Phoenix in September. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
