About Roland

Meet Roland, a charming little Chihuahua mix with a delightful spirit. This young pup came to us from a difficult situation, yet he's quickly adapted to life in his foster home. Weighing in at about 8 pounds, he has already mastered potty time outside, though he prefers using puppy pads. He’s learning to walk beautifully on a leash and discovering the joys of being a beloved pet. At around 10 years old, Roland is both snuggly and independent. He’ll gently nudge your hand when he’s ready for some affection, but he also enjoys exploring on his own. While he might bark at newcomers, all it takes is a treat to win his heart. Snacks are his favorite way to make friends! Roland is looking for a loving, patient home where he can feel secure as he continues to adjust to a brighter world. He’s known to get along well with other dogs and can thrive in a multi-pet household or as the center of your attention. Having recently had a dental procedure, he’s in great health and ready to bring joy into your life. Let’s help this special little guy find the loving forever home he deserves. Roland is being fostered in Mead, CO. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. We do not transport dogs.* Ready to start your journey together? Apply now!
