About Gina
Gina would like you to know that mature dogs really do have it all figured out. You get a clear sense of their personality and size. She has life experience—which means she knows who she is and is comfortable in a home. Sadly overlooked due to her age, this sweet girl deserves a second chance. At 8 years old, Gina is a medium-sized cattle dog mix, currently weighing about 48 pounds (though she should be closer to 40). After being adopted as a puppy, she unexpectedly found herself back at a high-volume shelter, leaving her confused and wondering why. The shelter staff were quick to advocate for her, noting her well-behaved nature, and we couldn't resist giving her a chance when we found her in time. Gina is low maintenance and takes her time warming up, but once she trusts you, she displays a friendly nature. She walks well on a leash, interacts nicely with other dogs, is crate trained, and is house trained. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who just wants a safe place to chill and share unconditional love, Gina is your girl. She has been a joy in her foster home and is ready to bring happiness into your life. Gina is currently being fostered in Mead, CO. *All adopters must come to Colorado to complete the adoption; we do not transport dogs.* Click apply to start the adoption process.
