About Homer

Meet Homer! Homer is a 6-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel mix and the ultimate loyal companion. Once he chooses you, you have a friend for life—he's all in, no half measures here. He's discovering that walks, car rides, and new people can be quite enjoyable. Quiet and well-behaved, Homer has low to medium energy and absolutely loves kids and other dogs. While he’s a bit shy around men, he’s learning that they can be pretty great too. Homer's life priorities include food, treats, hanging out with his favorite person, and occasionally checking for treasures in the trash. However, he has strong feelings about confinement and lets everyone know when he's unhappy in his crate—his escape artist skills are impressive! Homer would thrive with a confident canine friend to help him navigate the world. He’s a timid but affectionate guy who just needs some patience, love, and reassurance. He comes with a fresh dental cleaning and weighs about 16 lbs. Homer is currently in foster care in Loveland, Colorado. *Please note: All adopters must come to Colorado to adopt, as we do not transport dogs.* What are you waiting for? Apply today!
