About Avocado H
Avocado H is an 8-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who will remain in the Recovery Room until he is cleared for adoption. He has some energy for a senior dog, enjoying playtime with his brother, Oliver, who is his constant companion. Recently, they were surrendered due to their previous owner’s circumstances and have had quite a life together. Avocado loves playing with bubbles and lounging in kiddie pools. He’s familiar with car rides, is house trained, and is both leash and kennel trained. Although they have not lived with children, Avocado is somewhat nervous around them and tends to bark when kids get too close. He hasn't been exposed to other animals apart from Oliver, and while he may bark and lunge at dogs on a leash, he seems to ignore them in the shelter, preferring human interaction instead. Avocado has been noted to bark out of excitement. It's important for potential adopters to be aware that he has a heart murmur, which qualifies him as a special needs dog. What are you waiting for?
