About Annie

Annie is a 14-year-old, 90-pound Great Pyrenees with a personality all her own. Recently returned to us after her elderly owner transitioned to memory care, she’s adjusting to changes in her life with a bit of sass. Annie is like the cantankerous neighbor who likes to keep watch from her porch; she’s not into any wild adventures, just some sunbathing and leisurely strolls outside in her fenced yard. This girl enjoys her alone time and isn’t looking for a home with children or other dogs. Instead, she wants an adult companion who appreciates that she runs the show. As spry as she is for her age, Annie has no desire to join in on hiking trips or long walks. She values her comfort—preferably getting some rays on her dog bed. Adopting Annie means navigating her persuasive snack negotiations as she’s currently on a diet, viewing this as a personal affront. All we want is one last quiet home for her to enjoy a soft bed and her beloved sunbeams. If you’re interested in bringing Annie into your life, please apply online.
