About Max
Meet Max, a sweet and affectionate 11-year-old Cocker Spaniel. This Velcro dog loves being close to his people, is accustomed to cuddling in bed, and enjoys spending time with his family. Heβs been making progress with potty training but will need continued supervision around food since he tends to eat quickly and tries to push other dogs away from their bowls. Helping him reach a healthier weight is a priority. Max has found his voice and will bark during meals, while cooking, and when he sees other dogs, which means he requires some training and structure. He's friendly with other dogs but shows a bit too much interest in our male canine at times. Now that his dental and ear discomfort are improved, Max has revealed his loving personality. He thrives on affection and needs a patient adopter who can provide the training and stability he deserves. Potty trained on a schedule, he behaves well around adults and has good interactions with children and cats, although introductions should be made. Max is crate trained and navigates stairs without issues. As a loving senior looking for a forever home, he is ready to bring joy and companionship. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
