Meet Greta, a sweet senior girl with a calm, loyal heart who loves relaxing close to her people. She's wonderfully quiet (you may never hear her bark!) and enjoys the occasional toy, but short walks and cozy downtime are her favorite. Greta is fully potty trained, communicates gently when she needs to go out, and does best in a peaceful, cat-free home with slow introductions to new people. Because of arthritis and vision loss, she needs a patient adopter to guide her and help with simple routines like medications-but she handles her daily life with grace and just needs a little extra support. If you're looking for a low-key, devoted companion who will stick by your side, Greta could be your perfect match. Adopters are responsible for ongoing preventatives, follow-up veterinary appointments, and any medications as needed after adoption. In some cases, adopters may also be responsible for procedures not completed while in rescue, such as dental cleanings, additional bloodwork, or other recommended care. Please note that we work with volunteer veterinarians and partner veterinary clinics, and protocols may vary between veterinary offices. All adopted dogs will receive their rabies and distemper vaccinations prior to adoption. We offer a $50 adoption fee discount for seniors (65+) and veterans. Adoption fees help offset the cost of veterinary exams, vaccinations (rabies and distemper), heartworm testing, spay/neuter surgery (if needed), and any additional medical care specific to each individual dog. At this time, Grey Face Rescue is unable to adopt outside of Minnesota. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We do not place animals in homes where current pets are not up to date on vaccinations or are not spayed/neutered.
