Daisy is a 10-year-old Coonhound who brings a lot of heart and personality. She lives for outdoor adventures, long walks, and getting her nose on every scent she can find. She thrives on human attention and is happy to soak up affection, cuddle up, and play, but she’s also smart—she knows how to sit, stay, shake, and lay down (especially if a treat’s involved). Daisy is house-trained and will let you know when nature calls. She’s working through a minor leaking issue with manageable medication. Daisy needs to be the only larger pet; she isn’t suited to homes with cats or medium/large dogs. Given her size and strength, a home with older children and adults (rather than households with small kids or elderly individuals) will be best. She’s crate-trained, does well with stairs, and enjoys a life rooted in routine and companionship.
