About Max

Meet Max, a sweet little fellow searching for his forever home. This adorable Yorkie/Maltese mix was surrendered to Mutt Life Dog Rescue after his previous owner needed assistance. Max is around 2 years old and full of charm. He has an easygoing disposition and loves being around people, having done great with kids, even infants. Max is potty trained and crate trained, though he's had a few marking incidents just since arriving in his foster home. He’s scheduled to be neutered soon, which should help with that behavior. Max thrives in an active environment and enjoys walks, playtime, and opportunities to explore. He would love a home where he can engage in family activities, which is ideal since he's not a fan of lounging all day. Good with other pets, including dogs, cats, and even horses, Max is quite adaptable. He walks well on a leash but may pull occasionally, and his recall off-leash is excellent. An active family with a yard or an equestrian lifestyle would be perfect for him. Currently in Cedarburg, WI, Max is ready to meet his new family. Click apply to start the adoption process.
