Though she is not fully house trained yet, she is crate trained and enjoys her safe space. Currently living in Palatine, IL, Chai is ready to find her forever home.

Meet Chai, the sweet and spicy companion you've been searching for. This delightful girl thrives on attention from her humans and is thought to be about a year old. Weighing in at 11 pounds, Chai has a playful spirit and loves exploring the yard, often in pursuit of squirrels. After an adventure, she’s always ready for a cozy snuggle. Chai enjoys her walks, although she's still fine-tuning her leash manners. With her youthful energy, she still exhibits some puppy-like behaviors that need a bit of guidance. The good news is that she loves training treats and responds well to praise, so with some training, she'll likely learn quickly. It’s worth noting that a home with adults only would be ideal. Chai can be protective over her toys and may be a little mouthy when excited. Currently, she’s the only dog in her foster home, which means we haven’t seen her share her space yet. While she can be a bit mischievous at times, Chai is crate trained and likes her safe space, though she’d much prefer the couch if allowed.
