Meet Ella, a stunning 5 1/2-year-old light-red Field Golden who is rediscovering life beyond her past as a breeding mom. When she first arrived in foster care, Ella was a shy soul, hiding in the farthest corner of the yard. Fast forward four months, and she’s made remarkable progress, now staying close to her foster family and even seeking out gentle sniffs and kisses, which are significant milestones for her. Ella adores walks, enjoys calm car rides, and happily follows her foster dog siblings outdoors. While she is still mastering house-training, sudden movements and city noises can startle her. Ella thrives in a patient, quiet home with a securely fenced yard and needs a confident medium-to-large resident dog to feel safe. Due to her gentle nature, children in the home should be 15 and older. Her ideal family will understand the importance of moving slowly and respecting her boundaries as she builds confidence. After spending five years giving to others, Ella now deserves a chance to experience kindness and the comfort of a forever home.
