About Lisa
Meet Lisa, a delightful Aussie/Golden Retriever mix born on May 17, 2021, making her just over 5 years old. She has a striking coat featuring mostly black fur, with some white on her chest and a sprinkle of gray on her face. Recently spayed and up to date on vaccinations, she tips the scales at about 55 lbs and has had her diet adjusted to help her trim down a bit. Lisa is incredibly intelligent, eagerly learning commands like “sit,” “stay,” and “breakfast.” She thrives on companionship and does best in homes with at least one other dog, as she often seeks guidance from them. Lisa is also great with cats and can happily coexist with calm children aged 5 and up. She enjoys outdoor adventures, so a family with space to run and explore would suit her perfectly. While she can struggle with anxiety, especially in new situations, Lisa is affectionate and finds comfort in friendship, whether from humans or other dogs. She's crate-trained and prefers her crate as a safe haven. Leash introductions can be tricky due to her anxious nature, but Lisa shows promise when given time to adjust. She’s relatively quiet, only barking in response to unexpected sounds, and she’s never made an attempt to leave her home. If you think your home could offer Lisa the love and support she deserves, don’t hesitate to apply. She's waiting to meet you!
