Maggie is a tiny 6-year-old Yorkie looking for a compassionate home where she can thrive as a beloved companion. Having spent her early years as a breeder dog, she’s starting to discover the joys of a comfortable life. At just 5 pounds, Maggie is delicate and has a gentle heart, often curling up in her small bed to observe her surroundings from a safe spot. In her foster home, she appreciates the company of other small dogs but doesn’t need them to be happy as long as she receives plenty of affection and reassurance. Maggie has recently taken a liking to cow hooves, savoring the joy of her simple pleasures. Though she is crate trained, she isn’t yet leash trained, making a fully fenced yard ideal for her. She's working on her house training and will happily go outside but prefers to retreat indoors soon after. A calm and quiet environment, free from young children, will help Maggie continue to feel secure as she adjusts to her new life. She’s already spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and flea/worm treated.
