Mick is a lively Shih Tzu/Yorkshire Terrier mix looking for a fresh start. He’s about 1-2 years old and weighs around 14 lbs, which means he’s a small fella but a bit overweight. Mick loves being with people and prefers curling up next to his humans rather than staying in a crate. He's currently house trained and shows signs of previous training as he knows commands like 'wait' and 'no.' While he hasn't been crate trained, he does just fine when given space in the kitchen during the day. This affectionate boy is good with other dogs but would thrive if he has a playful canine companion to frolic with. While he may be shy at grooming, he’s a happy little guy who enjoys his walks and is eager for a yard to romp around in. Since he's not a fan of being left alone, a family where someone is around often would be his ideal match. Do keep in mind that Mick is not suitable for homes with children under four, but he's great with older kids. Given that he can get a bit anxious if crated, he's looking for a patient and loving home that understands his needs. He might require the right groomer due to his past experiences, but with some patience, he's sure to blossom. If you're ready to add a delightful and cuddly companion to your life, Mick is waiting for you. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
