Georgie has faced more than her share of hardships. Two months ago, she lost everything she knew—a home and a family—due to a house fire. Left behind in the ruins for weeks, she waited alone in the heat of Kansas, relying on scarce provisions. It's time for her to find a new start, surrounded by a loving, patient family who can help her trust again. This friendly goofball thrives on human companionship. Georgie warms up slowly, but once she trusts you, she’ll be your loyal friend for life. Full of energy, she loves to romp around and play, particularly if you join her in the fun. Social with other dogs and even good with cats, Georgie brings joy wherever she goes. When she’s not playing, you can find her snuggling up, often treating you to moments of blissful companionship. Though she’s a big girl and fully grown at around three years old, her short coat makes her an easy afternoon companion.
