After a transition from his previous family, he's looking for someone who understands the breed's needs and can help him thrive. At his age, Rocky has plenty of energy and craves physical exercise along with mental stimulation. He may get overstimulated when encountering people or dogs during walks, which leads to some leash reactivity. His previous experiences suggest he hasn't received much structured training, so he needs a patient adopter ready to provide guidance and help him build confidence. Although Rocky lived with children before, his size and enthusiasm make an adult-only home or one with older kids a better fit. He enjoys the company of other dogs, although his play can be quite energetic, so a dog that shares his play style would be ideal. Unfortunately, Rocky does not get along with cats and requires a cat-free home.
