About Enid

What are you waiting for? Apply today! Enid is around four years old and boasts an impressive lineage, blending bull mastiff, Neapolitan mastiff, German shepherd, cane corso, and labrador retriever into 70 pounds of sheer cuteness. She enjoys lounging in the grass, chasing after toys (though she isn’t always keen on bringing them back), chewing on sticks, napping on her back, soaking up belly rubs, cruising in the car, and spending time with her favorite people. A fan of water, Enid delights in playing with the hose or splashing in kiddie pools—but don’t expect her to venture out in the rain unless you go with her! Enid is exceptionally intelligent and already knows commands like sit, shake, down, place, kennel, come, look at me, through the legs, and wait for food. She finds squeaky toys more motivating than treats. Keeping her mind engaged with interactive toys, snuffle mats, or a peanut butter-filled Kong helps her stay out of mischief. While Enid isn’t a classic “Velcro dog,” she will seek out affection and enjoys attention at her own pace. Sometimes she’ll sleep in her person’s bed, but she’s also happy in her own spot. If you’re searching for a companion with a perfect mix of independence and affection—and perhaps someone to be the peas to your carrots—Enid might be your ideal match. She’s currently in the KC metro; transport may be arranged for a wonderful new home. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
