Meet Matzo, a calm and loving fellow looking for his forever home. This sweet Boxer mix is around 4 years old and weighs approximately 41 lbs. Matzo arrived at Mostly Mutts after needing a place to call home, and he’s been soaking up all the affection from volunteers ever since. He’s ready to find a family that will cherish him and provide him with all the love he deserves. Matzo enjoys spending time with other dogs, having met several at the shelter and making friends. Although he hasn’t been around cats or young children yet, he’s a gentle soul who would likely do well with older kids. This affectionate boy can be shy initially but shows his true personality once he warms up. He loves sunbathing, rolling in the grass, and of course, getting belly rubs! He’s currently in the Mostly Mutts University training program and is learning commands like ‘leave it.’ He knows how to greet people without jumping, which shows he’s got great manners! Matzo does need a little help with potty training since he has had a few accidents, so patience and love will go a long way in his new home. Matzo is neutered, current on vaccinations, and has been receiving medicated baths for some itchy skin, which can easily be continued at home.
