About Taryn

Click apply to start the adoption process. Meet Taryn, a friendly and fun-loving boxer mix who is approximately 4 years old and weighs around 34 lbs. After her time at animal control, she is now thriving with the caring volunteers at Mostly Mutts, awaiting her forever family who she can shower with love and loyalty. Taryn is currently enrolled in a foster training program where she is excelling in basic obedience skills like 'sit', 'down', 'stay', 'come', 'leave it', and 'drop it,' and she’s ready to keep learning more with her adopters through free lifetime training offered by Mostly Mutts. Taryn would do best as the only dog in the home, as she prefers not to share her space with other dogs—and while she hasn’t been tested with cats, her compatibility is unknown. She hasn’t met children yet, but she could be a fit for households with older kids rather than toddlers she might accidentally bump over. Taryn’s personality shines as energetic, happy, and playful, and she’s especially sweet even during baths and nail trims. She can be a bit vocal when seeing other dogs or people, making her better suited to a house environment rather than an apartment or condo. Her crate manners are good, although she will need some continued help with potty training on a consistent schedule. She enjoys playing with toys and spending quality time with people and is sure to find lots more to love in her new home. Taryn is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. She may need a little extra support with vet visits, such as a muzzle, to help her feel at ease during restraint. Taryn is waiting in Kennesaw, GA, for her loving forever family, and she can’t wait to start the next chapter of her life with you. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
