Moony is a 4-year-old girl with a charming underbite, a permanently goofy little face, and the sweetest soul. Weighing about 50 pounds, this beautiful meatball is happiest doing what she does best—lounging on the couch and soaking up love. She gets along well with other dogs and is gentle with children, making her a wonderful family companion. Moony’s past wasn’t kind: she was rescued from a neglectful household where she was forced to live outdoors in below-freezing temperatures, and she appears to have been used for breeding. Our vet also suspects her underbite and slight jaw misalignment may be the result of past physical abuse. Because of this, Moony can be a bit hesitant with strangers at first—but once she realizes she’s safe, she warms up quickly and shows just how affectionate and loving she truly is.
