About Skipper

Meet Skipper, a playful little guy who has overcome quite a bit in his short life. At just 3 years old and 14 lbs, Skipper faced challenging circumstances when he lost his home. His previous conditions left him scared and unsure, hiding in his crate and growling out of fear. Thankfully, a caring foster stepped in to provide Skipper with the love and medical attention he desperately needed. With time and patience, Skipper has transformed into a sweet companion who is learning to trust again. He enjoys playful interactions but can get overstimulated, so managing playtime with other dogs is a must. Skipper is making strides in potty training and has even formed a bond with his foster's husband. Now he’s ready to find a forever home where he can continue to build trust and confidence. Skipper needs someone who understands that he’s still a work in progress. If you’re patient and willing to help him heal further, he could be the perfect addition to your family.
