About Cooper

Cooper is a sweet 7-year-old, 7-pound toy poodle rescued from a challenging breeding situation. Timid by nature, he's learning what it means to be a dog. Initially scared of grass, he now zooms around the backyard, enjoying his newfound freedom. His housebreaking has shown great progress, and he sleeps soundly through the night without needing to go out. This little guy is a total lap dog, cherishing time snuggled up to his person. New to toys and more indifferent about treats, he shows a good appetite and is starting to explore his surroundings. While halters and leashes unsettle him, he happily gets his exercise in the backyard. Cooper thrives best in a loving, patient home where someone can be there to guide him. He enjoys the company of dogs his own size and is okay with school-aged children but could also shine as the only pet. Isn't it time to give Cooper the loving home he deserves?
