About Carly
Carly is a gentle Miniature Poodle who weighs around 12 lbs and is five years old. After spending much of her life in a breeding situation with limited human contact, she is slowly discovering what it means to be loved. Carly is still learning the ropes of house training but is making progress with piddle pads. She’s new to walking on grass and using a leash, so patience is key as she warms up to these experiences. Although commands are foreign to her, she enjoys some snuggling time with her foster mom and learns to trust in loving hands. Carly appreciates a calm atmosphere and would thrive in a quiet home, ideally with another dog that can guide her as she adjusts. Surprising for someone so sweet, Carly gets along well with people, cats, and other dogs, but she prefers her space until she’s comfortable. Ideally, her home would be free from loud noises and sudden movements, making it less likely for her to feel frightened. A fenced yard will be essential as she learns to explore the world outside of her previous confines. Carly is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations. If you have a quiet space in your heart for this deserving girl, consider adopting Carly and helping her find her footing in a loving home. Start the journey of love and companionship today!
