About Apollo
Apollo is a delightful two-year-old neutered male German Shepherd and Labrador mix, weighing in at 68 lbs. With a medium coat in a beautiful brown/chocolate hue, he embodies the best qualities of both breeds. Originally adopted as a puppy, Apollo finds himself looking for a new forever home after 15 months with his previous family, who had to give him up due to unforeseen circumstances. Currently living in a nurturing foster home, he gets along famously with a seven-year-old hound dog, as well as other canine friends like a chocolate lab that visits frequently. Apollo is fully house trained, happily crate-trained, and knows basic commands such as sit, shake, and come when called. While he loves a good outdoor run, he is perfectly content being an indoor dog, often found enjoying the view from the back door. Affectionate and playful, Apollo thrives on love, especially belly rubs and ear scratches. His ideal home is one where he can frequently visit a dog park or have a secure yard to run and play in, making him an excellent choice for families. If you’re ready to give Apollo the loving home he deserves, apply today!
