About Ivar
Ivar is a 3-year-old Shepherd/Pyrenees mix who weighs around 70 pounds. He joined us after being surrendered with a group of dogs and is still adjusting to his new reality. Calm and exceptionally sweet, he appreciates a quieter home environment and benefits from a patient, confident approach. Not one to shy away from interaction, Ivar doesn't necessarily thrive in chaotic settings. Instead, he prefers the company of those who understand his need for tranquility. He gets along well with other dogs, provided they don’t invade his personal space immediately. Cats are fine with him, and older, respectful children would also be a good fit. Ivar is house trained and behaves well on a leash. He enjoys car rides but doesn’t require a large fenced yard since he’s not a fan of running. This thoughtful dog is ready to offer loyalty and affection to someone who appreciates his calm personality. If you think Ivar could be the perfect addition to your home, apply now and take the first step toward adopting him.
