Calypso is a 2-year-old, 60-pound scruffy Great Pyrenees mix with a heart as gentle as her appearance. After being abandoned and left to fend for herself, she endured some rough times, including injuries from unwanted attention during her heat cycle. Fortunately, that's all behind her now. Calypso is currently safe, healing, and discovering what it means to be truly loved. With her mellow demeanor, she brings a calm and affectionate presence to everyone she meets. She gets along famously with other dogs and is good with children, making her an excellent addition to any loving family. While she still needs to gain a bit more weight, she’s ready to transition from survival mode to a cozy home life filled with soft beds and regular meals.
