Meet Jax! This nine-year-old Boxer mix is living life to the fullest in San Mateo, CA. With a warm tan coat that complements his engaging personality, Jax weighs a sturdy 70 pounds and believes he’s a lap dog at heart. He loves sharing sloppy kisses and being close to his humans. Picture this gentle giant by your feet or enjoying a lively game of keep-away with kids. His joy is contagious, especially when he performs his signature "jumping jax" at the mere mention of a walk. Jax is resilient and affectionate, eager to bring warmth to any family. He prefers not to be left alone for extended periods but thrives around familiar dogs and people, even if they’re just in another room. He enjoys outdoor adventures and is sociable with dogs of all sizes, although his recall might need some work due to his curiosity about wildlife. A home with an enclosed yard, companionship, and a routine filled with walks and playtime is ideal for Jax. His high energy and sensitive stomach require attention, but his loving spirit more than makes up for it. Does your home have space for a big-hearted boxer mix who loves life? Jax might just be the perfect addition!
