About Sadie Mae
Meet Sadie Mae, a gentle soul in her golden years, looking for a loving home that understands the needs of senior dogs. At 14 years old, she finds comfort in resting in her crate, where she feels safe and secure. Sadie enjoys gentle petting, watching the world go by, and taking leisurely strolls around the house or yard. This small Bichon Frise is very friendly and gets along with dogs of all sizes, from tiny 4-pounders to larger 75-pound pals. While she may not engage in play, she is fond of her stuffed toys and shares her space amicably with other dogs. Although she hasn’t experienced life with cats, she shows no signs of aggression. Sadie thrives on routine. She enjoys her leash walks and responds to familiar words like “potty,” “dinner,” and “treat.” She has a lovely way of expressing herself and is known to “talk” a bit, although not excessively. While she prefers to relieve herself using puppy pads indoors, she sometimes has accidents throughout the day, so a patient family would suit her best. This senior lady is looking for a calm, loving environment where children are over 10 years old. With a little patience and lots of affection, she’s ready to spend her days being cherished. Sadie has been spayed, is up to date on vaccinations, and has been well cared for. This sweet girl is ready for her forever home, where she can relax and enjoy her quiet moments. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
