He’s housebroken, crate trained, walks nicely on a leash, and is very responsive to commands and correction. Dexter already knows the routine of being a good house dog and settles easily into daily life. He’s a confident guy who’s used to being the only dog, so he naturally likes being in charge. Dexter could live with one or two calm, well-mannered dogs, but he doesn’t do well with dominant personalities and will stand his ground if challenged. Because of this, he would do best either as the only dog or with easygoing dogs that respect his space.
