About Waldo
Meet Waldo, also known as Wiggly Waldo, a charming 3-year-old Chihuahua weighing in at 12 pounds. His journey to this moment has been filled with challenges, having survived for a time in a gas station parking lot before finding refuge with us in Fresno. He’s now learning that warmth and love are part of his new reality. At first, Waldo can appear shy and timid, a reflection of his past. But with just a bit of patience, his vibrant personality shines through. His joyful "happy dance" is a sight to behold when he sees his people walk in the door. Waldo is affectionate, easygoing, and house trained. He can even put himself to bed when the day comes to a close. Contrary to typical Chihuahua stereotypes, he isn’t noisy or jittery; he simply embodies the spirit of a gentle, fun-loving dog seeking a safe haven. He gets along well with other dogs and has shown good behavior around children. However, due to his timid nature, we believe a quieter household would suit him best, while visiting children can be welcomed with proper supervision. Waldo dreams of a home with a securely fenced yard, away from busy streets, and, ideally, a friendly dog who can provide him with companionship and guidance. After all he’s overcome, Waldo’s ability to trust and revel in life's simple joys is remarkable. He is neutered and ready for adoption, just waiting for a patient family who can give him the love and reassurance he craves. If you have a quiet space, a confident canine friend, and a heart open to a wiggly little Chihuahua, Waldo can’t wait to meet you! Adoption fee is $350. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
