Toby is a charming 3.5-month-old male Terrier/Chihuahua mix currently located in Texas. At 14 pounds, he is still growing and is full of energy and curiosity. Rescued from a hoarding situation, Toby has quickly adjusted to life in his foster home in Houston, where he thrives on canine companionship. He loves his furry friends, especially a senior dog he enjoys snuggling with, making him an ideal candidate for a family with other friendly dogs. Playful and mischievous, he fills his days with adventures—whether chasing toys in the backyard or exploring his surroundings. Toby is getting the hang of potty training but will need patience as he continues to learn. He’s great with the 12-year-old child in his foster home, proving he can be part of a loving family. Because he is still a puppy, it’s essential for his new family to understand the commitment that comes with raising a young dog. Regular potty breaks, socialization, and positive reinforcement training are crucial for Toby’s development. He hasn’t been tested with cats yet, so that’s something to consider if you have feline friends. If you’re ready to welcome the joy of a puppy, Toby is eager to become your loyal companion.
