About Gomez
Meet Gomez, a 13-year-old, 19-pound Pomeranian who is ready for a loving home. This sweet boy has endured quite a journey. He was first adopted from Needy Paws in 2018, but sadly, he was abandoned eight years later and found alone in a field in Jefferson County. Fortunately, he was rescued and brought back to the care of Needy Paws. Gomez is a resilient companion. Though he’s lost most of his fluffy hair from a previous grooming, it’s starting to grow back. He has lost some hearing and most of his teeth, but that hasn’t stopped him from enjoying life. He moves a bit slower now due to arthritis, yet he remains healthy, and his bloodwork came back normal. He thrives in a calm environment, ideally in a home with few stairs, and would appreciate a caregiver who can spend ample time with him. Gomez gets along well with both small dogs and cats, making him adaptable in a multi-pet household. This little man is also potty trained and will alert you when it’s time to go outdoors. He enjoys exploring the yard at his own pace and most importantly, he loves to snooze in his cozy dog bed. Gomez is sweet-natured and deserves a home that values his gentle spirit.
