Sarah is ready for a fresh start. Coming from a crowded living situation, everything about traditional home life is new to her. While the world might seem overwhelming, underneath her shy exterior lies a gentle spirit. She's learning the ropes when it comes to housebreaking, playing with toys, asking for pets, and walking nicely on a leash. Because Sarah is a flight risk, having a confident resident dog can help her feel secure and learn to trust humans. At four years old and weighing in at 10 pounds, Sarah does have heartworm and will need treatment. Adopters will need to return to the shelter for two follow-up visits, but rest assured, the treatment costs are included in the adoption fee. While recovering from her treatments, it’s important that she stays calm. If you have the time, love, and patience to help her blossom at her own pace, consider meeting Sarah today!
