Meet Morgan, a gentle, quiet 6-year-old miniature poodle who weighs just 9 pounds. After being rescued from a life of breeding and little human interaction, she’s finally getting her chance to experience love and companionship. Morgan needs a special adopter willing to take things slowly and let her adjust at her own pace. Though she can be frightened when approached, beneath that fear lies a sweet dog who has no aggression towards people or other dogs. She’s learning to use training pads indoors but isn’t fully potty trained yet, and she hasn't had the chance to explore the great outdoors or walk on a leash. Handling is new to her, but she does enjoy lap time and cuddles with her foster mom. Morgan thrives in a calm and predictable environment. A home without small children would be ideal since she can startle easily. She does well with other dogs and would benefit from having a calm canine companion to help her feel secure.
