About Katniss

**Meet Katniss** If you're on the hunt for the sweetest dog around, your search ends here. Katniss is a charming 2-year-old Pit Bull who came into rescue alongside her two puppies. She was a fantastic mom, and now that her little ones are off to their forever homes, it's time for Katniss to be pampered herself. She's a perfect blend of affection and companionship. A petite powerhouse, Katniss weighs about **45 lbs** and is an ideal choice for anyone seeking a sturdy yet compact cuddle buddy. She's incredibly sweet, lovey-dovey, and thrives on affection. Katniss adores being close to her humans, soaking up every ounce of love she can get. She’s crate trained, walks well on a leash, and isn’t a barker. Katniss is great with dogs and kids, but hasn't been tested with cats. She’s also doing wonderfully with potty training—she'll let you know when she needs to go outside, although she may have the occasional accident if she isn't taken out in time. While on walks, she might pull a little when encountering people or kids since she gets so excited to meet them—she believes everyone is her new best friend. Just a heads up, anything left on the table might catch her eye as a potential snack, so keeping food out of reach will be a must. This all-around amazing girl deserves a family who cherishes her as much as she cherishes them. After dedicating her time to her puppies, Katniss is ready to finally be someone's spoiled baby. **Adoption fee: $350** Available through **Round Of A-Paws Pet Rescue** Think Katniss could be the perfect addition to your family?
