Snow is an adorable, medium-sized Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer mix, weighing just over 40 pounds. She's almost 3 years old and came from the PG shelter as a stray. Snow is deaf and would do best with someone experienced with deaf dogs, or willing to work with a trainer to support her needs. She thrives on affection, enjoys cuddling, and loves a good game of chase or running after toys. Despite her challenges, she's a happy and sweet soul, and has made progress in overcoming anxieties that likely stem from her deafness. Snow currently lives with a young child and a female dog, and gets along well with both. Though she hasn't lived with cats, she can be tested if needed. Recently, she's graduated from sleeping in a crate to snoozing with her humans at night, and feels comfortable with people around often. She's making strides with training, though she can get very excited on leash when seeing other dogs; an experienced handler can help her continue improving.
