About Thor
Thor is a sweet, affectionate pit bull/American Staffordshire mix who’s deaf but hasn’t let that hold him back. He’s spent the past year in a home with two adults, two young kids, and a female dog, Marvel—his bond with Marvel and his human family runs deep. Thor loves playing fetch, wrestling with other large dogs, and watching birds in the yard. Indoors, he’s gentle and enjoys snuggling up wherever his people are. He thrives in a secure yard and does best with a friendly large dog for company. Cats aren’t his thing, and while he’s lived with young kids, a home with older children or just adults will be more comfortable for him. One thing to keep in mind: Thor has leash reactivity to people, dogs, motorcycles, and cars, which means he needs an adopter with experience and patience to help him continue his training. Security is a must—he’s known to slip out of vinyl fencing if given the chance. Thor is healthy, fully vaccinated, and ready for the right person or family to provide him with structure, understanding, and plenty of love. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
