Meet Maple! This little girl is 9 weeks old, and while she may be the smallest puppy in her crew, she definitely doesn’t act like it. Born on June 26, 2026, Maple weighs just 7 pounds but has no problem taking charge during playtime, showing everyone that size isn't everything. She's playful, confident, and always eager for fun. When the fun winds down, Maple loves a good lap to curl up in. She doesn’t mind how you hold her—whether it's on her back, in your arms, or tucked against you, she’s just happy to be with you. Being one of Athena's ten puppies, Maple's exact breed makeup is a mystery. Athena is a Pit Bull mix, weighing around 60 pounds, and there's a chance the puppies could have different dads. Maple is expected to grow into a large dog, likely around her mom's size, so her new home will need a physically fenced yard for her to safely run and play. At this age, Maple is ready to soak up training and socialization. Her new family will need to continue working on house training and basic obedience while using positive reinforcement. Patience, supervision, and lots of chances to learn will help her grow into a wonderful family companion. Maple has already been spayed, microchipped, dewormed, and vaccinated for distemper and parvo. She will need two additional distemper/parvo vaccines and a rabies vaccine at 16 weeks. Maple is eager to meet her new family, bringing puppy kisses, energy, cuddles, and all the adorable chaos that comes with raising a puppy.
