Meet Benedict. This 9-week-old boy has a distinctive look and an abundance of puppy charm. With a birthdate of June 26, 2026, he currently weighs 12 pounds, making him the biggest puppy in his litter. Benedict stands out with his wispy whiskers and soft, textured coat. His scruffy appearance is both delightful and endearing, and we believe his unique look will only improve as he grows. He enjoys playing and wrestling with his siblings, showing off that classic puppy exuberance. Benedict is one of Athena's 10 puppies. Athena appears to be a Pit Bull mix weighing about 60 pounds. The exact breeds in this litter are still a mystery, and we have sent out a Wisdom Panel DNA test to uncover it. Despite being the largest now, Benedict has plenty of growing left to do. We anticipate these puppies will become large adult dogs, likely similar in size to their mother. For his forever home, Benedict will need a physically fenced yard where he can run and explore freely. At just 9 weeks old, he's starting his journey toward being a great family dog. His new family will need to focus on house training, basic obedience, and socialization through positive reinforcement. Patience and supervision will be key as he learns about the world around him. Benedict has been neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and has received his first distemper/parvo vaccine. His new family will need to ensure he gets the remaining distemper/parvo vaccines and his rabies vaccine at 16 weeks.
