Rescued from a hoarding situation, she missed out on much of the normal dog experiences, leading to a nervous start in new environments. With time, love, and patience, she will blossom into a beloved companion. When comfortable, she seeks affection, enjoys playing, and even has her playful quirks like stealing socks. Romy thrives with the company of other dogs, as she has never been alone without one. While not necessary, having a confident canine friend can help her adapt more easily. She gets along with cats but would do best in a home with children aged 12 and up, as loud noises can overwhelm her. A secure, fenced yard is essential for her comfort, allowing her to explore at her own pace. Romy is currently in Nashville, but transport can be arranged.
