Meet Boston. This approximately 3-year-old American Bulldog mix weighs 50 lbs and was found as a stray in Pratt, Kansas. After spending three weeks at the shelter, it became apparent that he struggled with the environment. His fearfulness led to increasing anxiety, making it tough for him to adapt. Now at The Pet Connection Sanctuary, Boston is receiving the time and individualized attention he needs. Our behavioral team is dedicated to understanding him better and addressing the socialization challenges he's faced. Away from the stress of the shelter, he’s revealing a more social and affectionate side, which is encouraging. While Boston still has a journey ahead, these early connections signal hope for his future. We're committed to supporting him at his own pace, with no pressure or expectations. Your patience will be key in his ongoing journey. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
