Meet Louie! This adorable Shih Tzu was rescued from the sweltering streets of Texas, and he arrived very matted. Initially shy, Louie quickly warms up to people and reveals his sweet nature. He gets along well with other dogs, making him a great companion for a multi-pet household. Currently, Louie is preparing for an exciting journey from Texas to Virginia, with a scheduled arrival on September 4th. If you're considering adopting him, check out the application below. Louie's adoption fee covers essential costs, including transportation, vaccinations, and a complimentary health exam from VCA Animal Hospitals within the first 14 days of adoption. We do not guarantee the breed; it's an educated guess based on appearance and personality. Every animal deserves a happy ending, and Louie is ready to find his forever home!
